During my time in Geniebook SG, I had the greatest opportunity to collaborate with Lower Secondary Science Teachers to produce an interactive PDF tool called ‘Companion’. This tool was distributed digitally to the secondary one students ahead of lesson so that it can be used together while they attend class online.
Sections of the interactive PDF were carefully planned together with the teachers to ensure that students are able to enjoy their lessons and deepen their interest and knowledge in the subject, while also increasing engagement in their online lessons.
The PDF successfully linked two different products together by encouraging students to participate in activities presented in their online lesson (product 1) together with the PDF and subsequently inspired students to participate in discussions with their teachers on a real-time teacher chatbox (product 2).

A total of eight chapters of the Secondary 1 science subject, spanning across the academic year. 15-20 pages worth of content per chapter.
